  I highly recommend Flagstaff Eye Care. They have a caring and informative staff and excellent frame choices. I have been a patient of Dr. Koshuta's for 3 years and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

  Just got back from my first appointment here. Dr. Richardson was a fun doctor, easy to talk to and indulged me in all my random eye questions. I agree with the review about them being slow -- I showed up 5 minutes early, and didn't get to the back until 20+ minutes after my appointment time. Entire appointment (standard new patient exam and contact lens appointment) took 2.25 hours, even though my prescription was stable. I enjoyed the doctor though, and once he got there, he spent quite a bit of time with me. However, I didn't care much for the front desk. I called back after being dilated and realizing that I only had a credit card receipt, and not an itemized bill. When i asked if I could get one, the response was reluctant as if they didn't want to do it. Turns out, they just need a few days for billing, but they made me feel like I was making an unreasonable request, which was off putting. Also, one of the techs made me leave the room (I requested to stay) to wait for my eyes to dialate, because they may "need it", but 10 minutes later I was back in the same room finishing the exam, so I moved for no reason. Overall, since the care is the most important, and I liked the doctor, so I'd give a good review, but there are some service indicators that could be improved.
